Junko has a near-supernatural analytical ability, able to analyze her surroundings with speed, detailed thought, and memorization. She can learn skills from seeing them in action once, has an excellent planning ability, and can read and manipulate other people. As a result, she is often able to predict what someone does before they do it. It is this ability that fueled her love for despair, seeing it as an "unknown" in an otherwise predictable world.
